Machu Picchu, best-selling tour and cultural destination worldwide


Lima, Jul. 14 (ANDINA).- The Inca citadel of Machu Picchu became in June the best-selling tour destination worldwide according to the website IExplorer, one of the most visited by tourists, specialized in selling package tours via Internet, the Commission for the Promotion of Peruvian Exports and Tourism (PromPeru) reported Monday.
Machu Pichu leads the list of the ten top selling destinations worldwide, followed by the Thailand Cultural Tour, The Pyramids of Egypt and Safari in South Africa.
it is also followed by the Adventure in Belize, the Cultural Tour in Greece, the Great Wall of China, Galapagos Islands in Ecuador, the Taj Mahal in India and the Safari in Madagascar.
The list of this website represents a travel recommendation for millions of passengers who use the Internet as a primary source of information to decide their journeys.
